LAST WEEK’S NEWS was a toxic stew.
Musk might be addicted to ketamine, and the president plans to deport from America Ukrainians who have found refuge from the war he thinks they started. The assistant president, in charge evidently of vice, thinks he knows all about masculinity, and a Supreme Court justice is threatened by loyalists because she interpreted the law in a way they don’t like. Conspiracy theories continue, even one about the president. 1 A few of my good friends have moved, perhaps permanently, to Mexico.
In such an environment, it’s wonderful to have images of peace, like the one above.
